The calm before the storm
We are awaiting the start of the eyes night show in Chicago, which is being hosted by the amazingly beautiful Epiphany Church. Some of us are upstairs in the “green room”, the rest are either downstairs or outside chatting with fellow travelers and/or local friends that may have been long out of touch. The slow, somber piano being played by Alex is a gentle sign that we are entering the waning stages of our voyage. There is still plenty of fight in us, though, and with repetition the shows are getting stronger and stronger. It is so great to be able to share our Baltimore with these distant cities and energetic strangers, but it is even more a pleasure to see ourselves reach such emotional heights of collective expression. This is a home to be held. ~Bob Jones, Chicago, Friday, October 10, 2008, 7:15pm http://jonesrecordings.com
